Meet Tasha
Dr. Tasha Austin-Williams is a scientist, educator, and community leader committed to advancing social impact through innovation and technology. Driven by a lifelong curiosity and a passion for problem-solving, Dr. Austin-Williams pursued mathematics throughout her academic journey, ultimately earning a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence. Her doctoral research focused on leveraging AI to unpack human biases and drive equitable outcomes in higher education and the financial industry.
As a proud member of the HBCU community, Dr. Austin-Williams uses her leadership to expand access to resources and create pathways to success for grade school and college students. Dr. Austin-Williams also serves as a visiting professor at Cornell University’s Brooks School of Public Policy, where she combines her expertise in AI with public policy to inspire future leaders.
She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from North Carolina Central University, an MBA from Howard University, and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Capitol Technology University, embodying the transformative power of education to change lives and communities.
